Welcome to my world and the Art of pressed flowers. This ancient art, known in Japan as Ishobana, Ikebana etc, has been practised in many countries for centuries. Artists from more than 30 countries are entering competitions in Japan, Korea, the U.S., New Zealand, the U.K and other countries. Last year there were more than 9000 pressed flower entries in the Annual Pressed flower Ehibition of Creation in Yokohama, Japan.

I'm Conrad Stoltz. For many years I've been offering my pressed flower Art for sale at shows and in Gift stores. As a result of the tremendous respopnse and on the advice of a friend I have ventured out on the Web and what a revelation that turned out to be. The world wide web introduced me to the world-wide Pressed flower guild where I have met many of the world's best pressed flowers artists. My world in pressed flowers,truly began to take on a different direction. With the help of The Guild I became acqainted with the largest Pressed Flower Conferences in the world - The U.K, Philadelphia in the USA, The Horticultural Society Show in Christ Church, New Zealand and yes as far away as Yokohama, Japan and others.

The Orient opened my eyes and taught me how much I have missed in years past! Two years in succession I have been successful at the IPFAS PRESSED FLOWER "EXHIBITION OF CREATION in 2008 and 2007.in Yokohama, Japan.

In 2007, more than 9000 Entries were received for this Competition, from all over the world and in 2008 probably about the same. I have not as yet seen the final statistics for 2009, but was notified that once again I was a WINNER! This time it was "An Englishman's Home is his castle"

I thorougly recommend the Guild to anyone interested in the Art of pressing flowers. The Guild regularly sponsors Internationalyy renowned Pressed flower artists to teach courses. What an experience!
